The HealthSpring plan change number for MA/MAPD is 1-855-649-5105. Clients can call this number to request a plan change (e.g., from Plan A to Plan B) while keeping their current agent of record.

NOTE:

​

There are doctors being selected as PCPs who are not part of the correct network. Some agents are choosing physicians outside the approved groups, which creates issues when members start the plan.

​

If an agent receives a request by email to correct a PCP, it is to prevent problems at the beginning of the year. Please make sure that when enrolling members in the Alliance Plan, agents select a PCP from one of the following networks:

​

• Renaissance

• Physicians Group

• Village Medical

• Dedicated

• CenterWell

These are the networks included in our training. Many agents are currently selecting doctors who are not part of these groups, which leads to avoidable corrections and delays.

Please ensure all PCP selections follow this guideline.

Important Notice – Alliance Product (HealthSpring)

Please note that for the Alliance product under HealthSpring, the agent portal link to search for doctors is currently not working. At this time, providers cannot be verified through the “Find a Doctor” link in the agent portal for this specific product.

For all other HealthSpring products, the doctor search link is working correctly. The issue only affects the Alliance product.

To verify participating doctors for the Alliance plan, please refer to the Excel file provided below. The attached document contains the updated list of available providers.
